Scrapbook Expo 2012 aka Scrapbook Heaven!

This past Saturday was the Big Scrapbook Expo that I look so forward to every year however I have missed the last one because it happen to be the weekend that I was at the annual Vegas scooter rally. I am so happy that the rally was moved the following week so I could attend this years expo.

This year the expo was at the Anaheim Convention center (next door to Disneyland). It was convenient for me since I am a Disneyland passport holder I just parked at the Toy Story Lot across the street and walked over to the expo. I went by myself as I usually do the past few times I went. I like going solo cause I can cover more ground and take my time looking at things and doing some of the Make and Takes.
Inside when you first go in are all the Crop tables and upstairs were all the classes WHICH I was going to sign up for but since I am going to be traveling the next couple weeks I just had to much to do over the weekend.
I got there fairly early in the morning ( Wanted my free Door Gift) It was PACKED.
My first stop was the Eyelet and Brad booth. I love the brads! They had a few big Bins out full of brads and eyelets for 1.00 a piece. I only go to the expo for the BIG DEALS and to watch demo's on new products...which I think on my next Xmas list is to get a Cricket!
I love the display cards on what you can do with the brads. There were these little candy brads ..
and I love the little time pieces! Great for an heritage album!
I headed towards the Back because I find that is where all the big discounts are..This booth just about EVERYTHING was under 3.00. All stickers (including Jolees) 1.00, ALL 12x12 paper including pattern paper, glitter paper, metallic paper, velvet paper 25cents EACH, Pop Dots 1.00, rubber stamps 2.00..I got a lot of stuff at this booth!
I just LOVE this laser cut of the pirate stuff!
I went to a few other booths where I found Pattern paper for 10 cents a piece so I grab a bunch of that and then I notice this ribbon section..I am a sucker for Ribbon! I love to use it for boarders. They had SO many beautiful ribbon for 1.00 a spool!!
Here are a couple I picked out...I love the pink and Blue pom poms for baby shower. Lots of pinks for Ava's Album!
Another booth were everything was just about under 5.00.
and more Ribbon!! I would have bought SO MUCH more but I had to budget myself. PLUS I lost 20.00 bucks inside...grrr...I had fresh new crisp 20's and I think when I went to pay to get in the 20 I gave the cashier had the other 20 stuck to it...so I had to remove 20.00 bucks to my scrapbook budget...oh well you win some you lose some.
Anyway here is everything I got...Lots more paper then photographed
My glitter paper packs I got for a buck each
I love this paper ...so old fashioned with the red glittery bird cages and newspaper print
I love this for a 4th of July page..and it goes perfect for my little stickers of uncle SAM hats and fireworks
Look how cute this trick o treat paper is!!
I love these glittery pages..I may use these for a wedding album
a close up of the glitter
I got this glittery French page too...Don't know what I am going to use it for...Guess I have to go to Paris now....
How could I resist Paper with Scooters on it...I bought a STACK of these!
I love the flower paper for Matting and the Alphabet page for something to use with some School Days pages for the kids
I love the crows...I got this for Matting
I love this as well...don't know what it is but I have totally been into birds lately!
This is one of my FAVES! All the black parts are velvet! I already know too what I am using it for...Haunted Mansion for my Disneyland Scrapbook!
Just some more random paper..The Pink flowers are all pink Velvet  and the pink stripes
The navy stripes are all velvet as well
I love this glittery kitty paper!!
I got some Brads as well... Mushrooms, and snails and dragon flies ( fun for garden stuff), Snakes cause Ava loves them, Tea cup eyelets for Tea Party photos, Pineapples and cocktails for Tiki O, Pirate Ships for Pirate park, and these super cute teddy Bears that you can use on photo corners that look like they are looking over your shoulder
I love these Laser cut vines with pop up flowers and butterflies and lady bugs!!
I got these birds for either Spring or It's a Small World
I have SO many aquarium photos and stuff with FISH so stocking up
Maybe I can save this for some Knott's Photos or Disneyland Scrapbook of Big Thunder Ranch
I could not resist these baby animals ..
Ava love animal crackers and Milk
They had soo many awesome Sesame street stickers...wish I would have bought ALL the characters
I needed these for my fishing portion of our Camping trip last summer
 My spools I bought.
Had to get the bling letters
Love the wiener dog ribbon and the appliance ones for some baking pages
Then I bought some ribbon by the yard ( 50.cents a yard). I got some white pom poms for winter, Leopard print for Vegas, White lace for wedding, Glitter green for Spring and the black stuff for Halloween cause it looks like Spider webs.

I got some great links to for major discounted Scrapbook supplies as well from some of the vendors I met there.
Once I got home I started to get Gabe to pull down my scrapbook boxes up in the rafters of the garage. I got to get organized because I am going to start getting back into the routine of having scrap nights with the gals at my house on Fridays. I guess I better start getting my photos developed.
