The Long Beach GRAND PRIX

This past Saturday I got two all access passes to the Long Beach Grand Prix. One of the racing teams asked if we could loan them a Vespa so they could easily go from paddock to pits and they offered to even put a vespa sticker on their car and put it on display. Of course we jumped to the opportunity.

A Nice Prime spot for a sticker. We went and met up with the racing team and got to meet everyone. They were very hospitable letting us come in and make ourselves at home.
We asked them How much the car was worth...380,000.000!!
 A close up
During the autograph session in the Paddocks they even had the Vespa on display. All the teams had scooters parked but they were all cheap little Chinese scooters...the Vespa Stole the show.
There were so many people taking photographs. This model is the Vespa GTS 300 Super in Flat Black. I just love it!
Our friend Kev works for a beer company and he also got Gabe and I passes to the Tecate Tent party at the Grand Prix. Free Food, Beers and the Tecate Girls were dancing their butts off. The music was very loud club dance music.

Hanging with some friends drinking as many beers as we could. The tent party closed at 4. Just in time for Gabe and I to watch our car race!
Girls dancing up in the DJ booth
 All the Guys
Having too much fun posing for pictures.
We went to a grand stand to watch the race.
 Here come the cars!!
It was pretty LOUD! I kept trying to get a shot of our car but they go by so damn fast!
 LOOK THERE IT IS!!!
We moved to the main grandstand...The view was much more better!
 NICE
 YES! My car again!!
After awhile Gabe and I went to walk around a bit ...Mustache ride anyone??
The race was ending so Gabe and I went back to the Paddocks and watched the cars roll in back to their spots
I guess we missed it but some one towards the end ran into our car in the back
The car across the tent from us..rolling in their car
Look at them all coming in
 OUCH!
The front didn't really get any damage though.
Even though our car did not win I still had the best time at the races. The team even offered to me anytime they were in town racing they would be more than happy to give me tickets! They will be back racing in Laguna Seca in the next couple weeks...Hmm..I may just have to go!

Flemings..a tasty treat!

I had to pick up Gabe from Work this past Friday..even though sometimes it is a pain in my arse to pick him up there are some great benefits to it as well.
While he was closing up his checks at his restaurant I got to hang out at the bar and have some free drinks. I had a Chanel champagne cocktail and a glass of red wine. Once Gabe was done he asked if I wanted to grab a bite to eat at The Flemings across the way cause they have a super happy hour so of course I said YES!
They have a 5 cocktails for 5 bucks. I ordered this Limoncello Martini
 Gabe had Champagne
Then he ordered the Prime Burger for 6 bucks!! Look how delicious that looks! I do not like blue cheese so If I ever order one it would be SANS blue cheese.  Gabe almost cried it was so good he told the waitress.
I had these mushroom ravoli app..which was nice and light with tons of flavor
Oh and a glass of champagne to go with my apples and Baked Bree with Candied nuts

We sat out in the patio and watched the rain. It was very nice. I love when we can have a little time to ourselves sans kids!
