So for the past couple weeks ALL Parker has been talking about is the new playground that is going to be opening at Mayfair Park. I guess all the kids in school have been hyped up about it. Anyway yesterday when Gabe went to get Parker from School Parker Begged to please take him to the ribbon ceremony so of course cause this was HUGE for Parker off he went to the park.
Walking up it WAS a pretty big event. They had sponsors with goodie bags out, A actual ribbon cutting, Miss Long Beach was there, They had a little mini carnival going on as well that was all completely free!
They had a line of carnival games for the kids. Parker I think played all of them
He won this big blow up hammer thing and he got a goody bag from one of the sponsors.

They even had lines for Face painting, Sand Art making, A clown ( SCARY ASS CLOWN) making balloon animals ( i love the little mermaid one this girl is holding in this photo.
The playground was PACKED!
They even had balloons all over the playground equipment
The tire swing seemed to be the biggest hit!
There was free Popcorn and Cotton Candy as well
After awhile it was time to come back home. Gabe brought a cotton candy home for Ava when she got out of pre school. I cannot wait to take Ava to this playground. It is REALLY REALLY NICE!
